Our group’s poster expresses both necessary details about the Public Art Proposal Presentation as well as allowing the viewer to think about homelessness. It is our hope that the creativity of the poster will spark the viewer’s interest and catch their eye, and that they will then take notice of the specific details of the event.
During our time together as a group, we agreed that none of us know what feels like to live as a person without a home. Our assumption was that many of the other University of Washington Bothell students who will view our poster, like us, have never experienced this. It was our goal to encourage some quick thoughts about what it might feel like to live in homelessness.
In addition to an illustration that will encourage thoughts about homelessness, we have included the details of the Public Art Proposal Presentation event. We made these details straight- forward and easy to read. The specifics are easy to remember and stand out on the background. It is our hope that this combination of elements will promote attendance at this event.
